The focus of this art program is to demonstrate the digestive and expressive qualities of art in relation to what we have encountered in other classes and in our everyday lives. In simple terms, we draw from recently acquired knowledge and attempt to personalize it by using it as the starting point for our art projects.

This picture was made by an artist named Janet Isabel Fish. In art class we had to pick a magazine that talks about some of the most famous artist in the ancient and modern society. Once we learned about our artist, we had to do a five section drawing. The five sections included: a piece of artwork from our famous artist, a self-portrait, a pattern, 3-D shapes with a vanishing point, and something that best represents us. It was a 3 to 4 week process. I learned a lot about many famous artist and what contribution they brought to the art world. It was very exciting because I love to learn about different styles of ART.

Foil Figures In art class we had to build a figure out of foil. The figure had do three things, to stand on it's own, show action, and have at least one accessory. We started off with just a square piece of foil and did some cutting and forming. To add an accessory, we had to either bring something from home or make an accessory out of clay. From this experience I learned how to work with clay.
